The house had everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen stood out for us. We cooked breakfast most days and made dinner a few nights and Traci had the pans, appliances and utensils we needed. The grill also came in very handy. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses. The open living space was nice to hang out after a day of outdoor activities. Speaking of outdoor activities, the washer and dryer were key after hiking and horseback riding. No need to pack stinky clothes. In the less mundane, we sat in the hot tub on most days and used the fire pit twice, and since we had a fire, we of course made s'mores. The location is very convenient. We visited Blowing Rock, Boone and Grandfather Mountain, none of which were very far - Blowing Rock at 35 minutes being the longest drive. The house is also a short drive to downtown Banner Elk, an even shorter drive to Kettell Beerworks, and 10-15 minutes to supermarkets, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very nice and extremely clean. We were extremely comfortable from check in to check out. Conveniently located so we were able to do a lot in 3 days. Thank you Traci! Very good chance we will stay again at some point if it’s available when we go back to Banner Elk.

We booked a wonderful last minute weekend getaway at Banner Ridge. Traci was so kind and responsive and the house was exactly what we needed. It was stylish and sparkly clean and had everything we could think of to make our stay perfect. Its location was great for exploring the area. It was just the two of us this weekend but it’s the perfect size for us to bring our family back with us on another adventure. We’ll definitely be back! (Note: lots of reviews have already talked about the driveway but for reals, take the AWD car if you’ve got one. The little secluded perch the house is on is totally worth it but it’s definitely a very steep little stretch of driveway getting up there.)

Beautiful place. Clean and pristine. Beautiful layout and decor, lots of natural wood and light during the day. Kitchen has basic utensils, pans, and spices.. Each room has its own smart TV. We enjoyed the hottub at night. If you stay in the winter, read her listing thoroughly. The driveway is very steep like a lot of homes in the mountains. She is very clear in the listing with directions and instructions. I would recommend her place and stay here again.

Traci's cabin was the perfect spot between Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain for our ski trip. Since we went to both places a couple times, it evened out the driving to them which took about 12-15 mins. The cabin is cozy and had great beds after a long day of skiing. Tons of snow while we were there so if you do come during snow you will need 4wd or awd to get up the driveway. Very nice and thanks!
